EstateSaleList is our first big internal project that allowed us to research several design challenges. Within this site, we addressed various issues, such as various browser width, cross-browser compatability, location detection, image manipulation, drag-n-drop, and much more.

The primary purpose of this site is to allow estate sale companies to list their sales in an easy and natural way. We support adding custom categories and display order on a per-seller and per-sale basis. Items can be added just by dropping them into a box on the screen. A powerful search backend allows users to easily search their zipcode, city, county, or state for sales or companies. The company profile page allows a seller to display all of their information and talk a little about their business, as well as showcase their past sales.

After completing the standard website, we implemented our first self-made mobile framework for developing web-based applications for mobile devices, called web-apps. The goal was to give a native look and feel to the website, and we feel we acheived that.

The framework was titled Coconet, and like most things, is under constant development and improvement. It is pushing the boundaries and expanding what we are capable of doing on a mobile device, making for the best user experience.

This website was one of our first public works as a business. It is created for consumers who want to see sale information, including dates, times, locations, items, and more. There are several static pages on this site, but also dynamic ones that fetch data from a remote database using a proprietary interface that we wrote.

Since the launch of this website, Cece has experienced a tremendous increase in customer interest and is now routinely booked for months in advance. Customers have raved to her about how much they like her website.

Shortly after making her standard website, Cece contacted us and asked us to make her a mobile version. Our in-house Coconet Mobile Framework wasn't ready yet, so we used the popular jQuery Mobile Framework. All of the same features on her regular site are now available on your mobile device! With a native app-like feel, it is fast and easy to use.

When performing my research for my Ph.D., I periodically need to perform a user study. I made this website as a way to create, organize, and manage all of my user studies. Since creation, it has been used by several other researchers in my lab, with great success.

Creating an account only takes a few seconds, and signing up for a user study slot is as simple as one click. Email notifications are sent to remind participants of their scheduled participation. Researchers have an easy interface for creating and managing their studies.

While in between jobs, I decided to take my resume and put it online. I took what I already had in my resume and structured it using HTML. Additionally, I put up other information about myself, such as my educational history, a short bio, and some other stuff.

The tile menu was inspired somewhat by the Windows 8 tile concept. I created the different tiles, and then imagined how they would interact with the user. When a user changes pages, the current page auto-scrolls back up to the top, providing a nice effect.

We can go into your website and make some crucial changes to the code, as well as monitor your site traffic using Google Analytics, which helps us to improve your sites visibility and effectiveness.
